Toepen — keeping score

Bluffing, as few points as possible

Track the stake and the penalty points. "Toep!" doubles the stake, whoever loses gets those points, whoever passes gets 1. Whoever reaches the target score is out — the last one remaining wins.

How does the score form work?

House rules for Toepen vary wildly from family to family, so this sheet keeps the core and leaves the rest adjustable. Every hand starts at a stake of 1 penalty point, and each "Toep!" doubles that stake before the hand is settled — Scorivio does the doubling itself, up to 16. Afterwards you record what happened to each player: whoever lost the hand takes the full stake in penalty points, whoever folded takes 1. As soon as someone reaches the target score they're out; the default is 15. The last player standing wins.
