A Feast for Odin — keeping score

A Viking route full of workshops and livestock

Dozens of scoring sources grouped in two: fixed sources (ships, buildings, animals, silver) get a stepper with the known rate, variable sources (exploration boards, occupation cards, income, deductions) are entered freely — the sheet adds it all up.

How does the score form work?

A Feast for Odin has so many scoring sources that the official score sheet is an accounting exercise in itself, and this form follows that same sheet. Steppers handle the fixed rates: a whaling boat scores 3, a knarr 5 and a longship 8; an emigration is worth 18 or 21; a shed 8, a stone house 10 and a long house 17; a sheep 2 and cattle 3, or 3 and 4 when pregnant. The English Crown tile is 2 points. For the variable sources — exploration boards, occupation cards, silver, final income — you enter the amount yourself. Deductions go in too: uncovered spaces on your boards, and 3 points per Thing penalty tile.
